The first edition of Under Our Skin International Film Festival On Human Rights 2021, Kenya was held in Nairobi from 16th to the 25th of July 2021 with an extension of community and university screenings in Kilifi.
The festival aims to entertain, inform and inspire through the medium of film. We motivate audiences and participants to question, debate and reflect on the state of human rights both in Kenya and internationally using award-winning films.
We’re engendering action and positive change for society and individuals. We welcome documentaries, fiction, conceptual films, and animations of all lengths from filmmakers around the world.
